She Who Would Be Princess - Part Four

Ouch...
"OOOF!"

That's the spirit!

A princess must never quit. Swordplay waits not much farther ahead.

REALLY focusing, there...
Collected... head up, heels down, she waits for the others.

Who is this?

After tethering her horse, "Princess Alicia" blinks. Now, with hesitation, she sets aside her plastron.

A new player?

The "Spanish Countess" challenges.

Disappointing...
But the Spaniard, who looks more like a Gypsy, is there for posturing, not combat. One attack, and the dark clad woman withdraws.

She has an audience...
While Ghislaine watches from the embankment, a young woman wearing a sky blue cape steps forward.

...but not for LONG!

Undaunted by her new opponent's obvious skill, "Princess Alicia" presses an attack.

Good move!

A low-line parry defeats Blue Cape's riposte.

But what NEXT?
While "Alicia" wonders what to do next, her opponent disengages...

UH-ohh...
... straightens her arm...

NOOOOoooo!

... and strikes!

*Cough*... *hack*...

Alicia freezes.
Dreams of honor, victory, and glory bleed away and pool at her feet...

"Oh come off it, Dearie! The point's not sharp."
