"OOOF!"

A princess must never quit. Swordplay waits not much farther ahead.
Collected... head up, heels down, she waits for the others.

After tethering her horse, "Princess Alicia" blinks. Now, with hesitation, she sets aside her plastron.

The "Spanish Countess" challenges.

But the Spaniard, who looks more like a Gypsy, is there for posturing, not combat.
One attack, and the dark clad woman withdraws.
While Ghislaine watches from the embankment, a young woman wearing a sky blue cape steps forward.

Undaunted by her new opponent's obvious skill, "Princess Alicia" presses an attack.

A low-line parry defeats Blue Cape's riposte.

While "Alicia" wonders what to do next, her opponent disengages...
... straightens her arm...

... and strikes!

Alicia freezes. Dreams of honor, victory, and glory bleed away and pool at her feet...
"Oh come off it, Dearie! The point's not sharp."
