Ride the Heather - II

Red Raven and her escorts Genovo in his black-at-heart cape, and Einar of the constantly surprised countenance, see easy pickings.

"Get her!"

The two goons circle AJ... Genovo circles while Einar makes for a direct grab.

AJ fights Einar off with a well-placed kick. "No, you don't, Buster!"

She proves a match also for the villainous Genovo... "And you - don't even think about it!"

It seems, however, as if AJ is about to run... AJ edges away...

...Straight into Red Raven! ...Then attacks Raven!

...who proves to be NO match for AJ! "HELP me, you fools!"

However, AJ is captured after a fierce fight... Subdued, with her ankles bound, Alice Joy is loaded on her horse like a gutted deer.

Her fate looks dire! "Finally," Red Raven sneers, "Two strong men-at-arms subdue an unarmed girl. Congratulations. We take her to Mindbender."
